About this activity
We meet at the information point outside the front gates of Belfast City Hall. From there we wend our way in and around Belfast City Centre finishing within sight of the City Hall. Along the way, we travel through Belfast’s famous ‘Entries’ and visit the Cathedral Quarter. You’ll get to see the Albert Clock, Spirit of Belfast, St George’s and visit a church from 1783 at the fore centre of Irish history with surprising links with it’s neighbouring catholic churches. We use as our source books on Belfast that we’ve written and we have developed the tour with colleagues from Queen’s University Belfast. Expect to be entertained, informed and enlightened!
