Stop At: The National Assembly, 13, Nikola Pasic Square, Belgrade Serbia
Our tour begins in front of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. This monumental building was built in the early twentieth century, and it served firstly as the National Parliament of Yugoslavia, then Serbia and Montenegro, and it eventually became the Parliament of Serbia in 2006. It is one of Belgrade’s most significant buildings that has witnessed many important events in the history of the city and of the nation as well.

Stop At: Royal Palace, Bulevar Kneza Aleksandra Karadordevica, Belgrade Serbia
Across from National Parliament is the City Assembly of Belgrade, so called “Old Palace.” It was built between 1881 and 1884, during the reign of King Milan Obrenovic when Serbia was proclaimed to be a Kingdom for the first time after medieval ages. Next to it, is another important building for Serbians, the New Palace, currently the office of the President of the Republic of Serbia.

After you hear the story about struggle between Serbian dynasties, that lasted almost 100 years, we continue our tour by visiting the youngest square in Belgrade, called Nikola Pasic Square, with one of the biggest fountains in Serbia.

Stop At: Terazije Fountain, Balkanska Street Between Hotel Moskva and Hotel Balkan, Belgrade Serbia
The most charming square in Belgrade “Terazije Square” is next on our route. Hotel Moscow and Terazije Fountain are its two most remarkable landmarks. Nearby, at the entrance of Knez Mihailo Street is Palace of Albania, built in 1839 as the first skyscraper constructed in Southeast Europe.

Stop At: Knez Mihailova, between Kalemegdan and Terazije center of Belgrade, Belgrade Serbia
A walk through lively Knez Mihailo Street will lead us to Republic Square – main epicenter of the city. We’ll see two most valuable buildings for cultural life in Belgrade: National Museum, built at the beginning of 20th century, and National Theatre, built as the first theater in the city itself. In the center of the square is the Prince Mihail Monument.

Stop At: Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan, Belgrade Serbia
Kalemegdan Fortress will be the last thing to discover on our tour together with confluence of two rivers and the most beautiful location for taking memorable pictures of Belgrade.
