Stop At: Smederevo Fortress, Smederevo 11300 Serbia
In the first half of the 15th century the capital of Serbia was moved from Belgrade to Smederevo. In a very short period of time the huge Smederevo fortres was built. The new Serbia's capital from the medieval times is still standing on the Danube's bank reminding us of our turbulent history during the reign of the Ottoman empire. The biggest low-land fortress has been damaged in the WWII, but the palace of the fortress is reconstructed and it's a place where many cultural events takes place.

Stop At: Viminacium Archaeological Park, 12208 Stari Kostolac, Kostolac Serbia
Viminacium archaeological site - the biggest and most preserved Roman settlement in the Balkans, which has been reconstructed to revitalize the old times. From the 1st to the 6th century, was also the seat of the Emperor’s regent and the harbour of the Danube River Fleet. This largest ancient Roman archaeological site unique for not having a modern city built above it, has been the subject of archaeological research over the past four decades.

Silver lake - an artificial lake made on a Danube channel, on the border with Romania. From very beginnings in 1970’s this lake became a favourite summer destination in Serbia. Beside few beaches, along the bank of the lake is pedestrian zone with cafes, beach bars and restaurants.

Golubac fortress - the magnificent medieval fortress stands on the cliff on the very enterance to the Djerdap gorge. With it's 9 high towers on the rock above Danube river this fortress is a must-see. Hear the stories about the great medieval battle, Baba Kaj rock, the legends, end enjoy the veiw of the Great river on it's very entrance to the longest gorge in Europe and the biggest National park in Serbia.
