My wife and I did this excursion as part of our honeymoon and it was extremely fun. I would recommend that you have basic kayaking ability before doing this trip, as it can be a source of stress and there is no kayaking instruction given (just a brief safety course). Bring plenty of sunscreen for those bright days, but it really is a beautiful trip. You get to see mountainsides and cliffs up close in a way you cannot have from the ferries around Como. Our guide was also very kind and helpful with lots of information about the various places we went to, as well as good recommendations for what to do around Lake Como. Plus, the trip was topped off with some of his homemade bellini. The trip is just the right amount of time too -- we did not feel like it was too short or too long. Make sure to leave plenty of time in order to find the place though so you can be on time!
