One of the most popular waterfalls in Norway. The Steinsdalsfossen has a fall of 50 m and is special because you can walk safe and dry behind it. The Centre is an exciting experience centre for Norwegian nature, climate and environment, and an authorised visitor’s centre for Hardangervidda National Park. The new exhibitions establish Norwegian Nature Centre as a state-of-the-art experience and teaching centre for natural and cultural history with a unique offering to complement what you can find in other visitor’s centres and in the outdoors.

The Hardanger Bridge is 1380 meters long, and one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. At Bu (south end of the bridge) there is a parking and picnic area, public toilet and view point to the bridge, accessible to disabled people. At Vallavik (north end of the bridge) there is also a parking and a view point to the bridge.
Enjoy the breathtaking fjord landscape, or the construction itself: The main span is 1380 meters, the towers are 202 meters high, clearance below is 55 meters.
