Natural Parks La Chorrera and Mataredonda from Bogota Private Hike Tours Lite

From Bogota we will go in a private tour to the west of the city getting deep in the western mountain chain that belongs to the Andes. An hour away from there we will find the ecologic park of Matarredonda. With Paramo and Sub- Paramo proper from the area, we will enjoy a natural water factory where the plants preserve the humidity making of this environment a geographic sponge that absorbs water from the air and transforms it in little flows that will eventually become important rivers and underground water deposits.

The Park-Adventure La Chorrera will be open for us with its ecologic paths, water reservations, waterfalls, pure air and calmed environment. Through the overwhelming, humid and tropical vegetation we will pass by some spots that will offer different ways of interaction with the area: The Chiflon waterfall, will be the first spot where we will have the chance to get under a beautiful curtain of water. Then we will walk through the mist forest, where there will be an undulating view of the valley. We will visit the cave of monkeys and its collection of stalactites. Finally we will get to the base of La Chorrera waterfall where we will be able to see the last 100 meters of it.

 The highest waterfall in Colombia will impact us with its natural wideness; a stepped fall of 590 meter. We will be surrounded by the endemic vegetation to a thick forest that fits each wave of the mountain, with relaxing sounds that are the voice with which the nature express itself and a big collection of animals that will be joining us through the way.
