Walk the famous 2,250’ granite jetty, known as DogBar Breakwater with lovely views of Gloucester Harbor on one side and the open ocean and the Boston skyline on the other. View the many fishing boats and learn how Gloucester became the birthplace of the American fishing industry and one of the most important fishing ports in the world. Visit the famous Gloucester Fisherman Memorial Monument commemorating the lives of those fisherman lost at sea for nearly 4 decades. See the Lighthouses including Ten Pound Light, Cape Thacher Island Twin Lights, Straitsmouth Light, and Eastern Point Light. Take a stroll along one of the many beaches on Cape Ann and breath in the fresh salt air.

Rockport is a charming coastal fishing village known for it's quaint harbor, lobster boats, delicious New England cuisine, boutique shopping, and a painter's paradise. It’s the perfect place to relax by the ocean and breath in the salty air or browse the work of an incredible number of artists. Bear Skin Neck offers lots of boutique shopping and fine restaurants offering "catch of the day and of course fresh caught lobster. We'll have plenty of time to take in the sites and enjoy lunch.
View the famous Motif #1 fishing shac, Thacher Island Twin Lights and Straitsmouth Island Lighthouse . Take a stroll on the Rocky outcrop known as the Headlands offering spectacular views of the harbor and the town and a famous place for artists to paint the scenic New England seashore.
