This 2-day tour was absolutely worth it - wonderful nature and landscapes, as well as very beatuful little towns, fortresses and castles. We enjoyed Sigishoara, Brasov and Dracula's castle a lot. Also the gardens of Peles Castle were very inspiring and relaxing. The bears in the sanctuary seemed to be in caring good hands: the enclosures are very spacious, and the animals looked very healthy and well-nourished.The weather was mostly sunny with only 1-hour short periods of rain in between. Our tour guide, Rasem was very well educated, kind and always willing and happy to explain and show to you whatever you wanted. His English is very good! The only thing we didn't enjoy as much was the choice of the hotel. We had wished for something better. In our opinion, the hotel didn't quite match the 3*-standard - it was rather a 2-star situation. Still, the restaurants in town offer very good food within a perfectly affordable price range. To put it in a nutshell: We recommend this tour. Two days is the least you should invest for visiting Transylvania. Lots of wonderful places are waiting for you. Have fun!
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the trip got delayed by three hours due to a problem with the company's car, the company call us the night before and explained they had just one only vehicle to go to Transylvania. This delay cause us to rush that day, we couldn't see Peles castle top floor, which was upsetting the place is stunning! I believe the guide's name was Ramsen he was amazing! patient, always thinking of my mom's comfort. Transylvania is so worth seeing the landscape and towns are beautiful.
