3 day cycling tour in the Land of Volcanoes

Day 1

We will meet early in the morning in Brasov, get the bikes in the trailer and drive to Casinu Nou. Here, we begin a 45 km (530m ascent) bike tour, going through a couple of villages and wild forests where we might encounter wild animals. We will reach an altitude of over 1000 meters and from there we have a long descent to the village of Sansimion. Here, we have a cold surprise for you: an exciting tour of a beer factory, ended with a delicious meal. And remember: during the tour, beer is unlimited and for free. After the tour, the van will get us to the accommodation.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will participate on a 5-6 hour offroad Safari adventure in the surroundings. On this tour, we will see beautiful meadows full with flowers, old WW2 bunkers, huge quarries and a beautiful panorama of the region. A traditional picnic is included. When we get back, if there is still time, we can take a 40 km bike tour to the beautiful St. Ana volcanic lake and back. We finish the day with dinner and a cold beer (not included).

Day 3

After a delicious breakfast, we start the tour. The first 10 kilometers are on the main road and after that we leave the asphalt and cycle through Malnas Bai, where you can taste the cold mineral waters coming from natural springs. After a few kilometers, we reach Valea Zalanului, an isolated village where Prince Charles himself likes to spend some days from time to time. We continue to Aita Seaca and back on the paved road to the town of Baraolt, where we end our tour at a restaurant. We will be taken back to Brasov by van.
