Day 1: Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov - Sighisoara
Pass By: Triumph Arch, Piata Arcul de Triumf, Bucharest Romania
On the first day you will be picked up from Bucharest from your accommodation and we will drive towards beautiful Transylvania.
Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Our first stop will be at the imposing and magnificent palace of Peles. Built by the royal family of Romania during the 19th century, this palace offers an insight of 19th century German Renaissance style of decorations.

Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania
The next stop will be in Bran Castle, known also as Dracula’s Castle. The imposing construction watches over a valley from a strategic position, it was originally built as a fortress at the former border between Wallachia and Transylvania. Together we shall discover the connection between the legendary ruler, Vlad the Impaler, and the infamous vampire.

Stop At: Brasov Historical Center, Piazza Sfatului, Brasov Romania
In the afternoon we will head to the city of Brasov, a city that retains its medieval charm with the help of its well kept historical center. Our walking tour of this lovely town starts from the main square from where we shall admire the old City Hall with its clock tower, the monumental Gothic Black Church, the fortifications, the two watch towers up the hill, the craftsmen guilds and the narrowest street in Europe.

Day 2: Sighisoara - Viscri - Biertan - Sibiu
Stop At: Sighisoara Historic Center, Piata Cetatii Nr.1 Center of Sighisoara, Sighisoara 545400 Romania
After breakfast, we will go on a walking tour of the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, one of the very few permanently inhabited citadels in Europe. This is also the birthplace of the legendary Vlad Dracula, whose house we will see, after which we will climb to the top of the 500 year old clock tower for a fantastic view over the town.

Stop At: Viscri Fortified Church, Viscri 507039 Romania
After Sighisoara walking tour, we will head for the fortified church in the traditional Saxon village of Viscri. Viscri is one of the most well preserved saxon villages where time has stood still. Should you be interested we can pay a visit to the local Blacksmith within a traditional Gypsy family ( optional at your own expensecost 5 Euro/person) and take a ride by a horse and cart in the village (cost 10 Euro/person) or even enjoy a traditional lunch in the village ( own expense).

In the afternoon reach Biertan Fortified Church. Grab a look inside and find out the story behind one of the most well known fortified churches of Transylvania.

Stop At: Sibiu Tourist Information Center, Strada Brukenthal Samuel 2, Sibiu 550178 Romania
Last stop will be Sibiu, also known as Hermannstadt. This is the heart of the German community living in Romania, the German Saxons having lived here for over 800 years. A former European capital of culture, Sibiu boasts many great sights from medieval times when it was a citadel: the Great Square, the Brukenthal Museum and an infamous Bridge of Lies.

Day 3: Sibiu - Corvin Castle - Alba Iulia - Sibiu
Stop At: Castelul Corvinilor, Strada Castelului 1-3, Hunedoara 331141 Romania
Set out in the morning for Corvin castle. This well preserved medieval castle offers an insight into Transylvanian history. Find out more as our guide will introduce you in the history of this place.

Stop At: Citadel of Alba Iulia, Calea Motilor, nr. 5A, Alba Iulia 510134 Romania
After Corvin Castle head for Alba Iulia. the city where the unification of Romania was signed. Explore the roman and medieval streets to find out the culture and history of this city.

Stop At: Biserica Sfanta Treime, Dj106e, Sibiel 557234 Romania
In the evening enjoy a homemade traditional dinner in Sibiel, a very well preserved traditional village of Transylvania.

Day 4: Sibiu- Transfagarasan road/ Olt River Valley Road - Bucharest
Pass By: Transfagarasan Highway, Dn 7C Sibiu and Arges County, Curtea de Arges 115300 Romania
If you are travelling between July and October, we will take the Transfagarasan road on the way back, as we are going to go on top of the Carpathian mountains and enjoy a great view over Transylvania. This road is said to be one of the most fantastic roads from Europe. It was nominated by Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson – famous former co-presenter of UK TV as the "best road in the world".
If you are travelling in the other time of the year, we will use the Olt Valley road as a route on for the way back to Bucharest. On the way we will stop at Cozia Monastery, the place where Mircea the Elder, the grandfather of Vlad Dracula is buried.
Reach Bucharest in the afternoon.
