4x4 Transfagarasan 2-Day Private Tour from Bucharest

Your 2-day tour begins with an 8am pickup from your Bucharest hotel. Board the 4x4 vehicle and relax on the journey of about two hours to Curtea de Arges.

After a visit to the Curtea de Arges Monastery, continue to Poienari Fortress, a ruined castle noted for its connection to Vlad III the Impaler. At midday, depart for Balea Lake where, upon arrival at 1pm, there is time for photo opportunities and an optional lunch (own expense).

At 2:30pm, depart for Sibiu, two hours away, where you have 1.5 hours of free time. At 6pm depart for Sighisoara where you spend the night. Dinner at the hotel is optional and at your own expense.

Day two begins with free time in Sighisoara. Recommended attractions include the 12th century Sighisoara Citadel.

Depart for the Transylvanian city of Bran at 10am, arriving at around 12pm for a visit to Bran Castle, also known as "Dracula's Castle."

Drive about 30 minutes to Brasov where you explore the old city center and the Black Church, Romania's largest Gothic church. A lunch break here is optional (not included).

At 3.30pm depart Brasov for Bucharest, arriving back at your hotel at around 8pm.
