8days Bucharest- Transylvania - Unesco Painted Monasteries - Bucharest

Day 1 Bucharest

Your tourguide will wait for you in the airport to start the visit of Bucharest. If you are already in Bucharest we will offer a short panoramic tour. Free time in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Novotel 4* or similar.

Day 2 Bucharest – Cozia - Sibiu

In the morning we will departure to Cozia Monastery, decorated in a unique romanian architecture. Following we will arrive in Sibiu, European Capital of Culture in 2007. Enjoy a visit of the old town with its amazing squares. Optional you can have dinner in a traditional house of the peasents in Sibiel and overnight in the old town in Hotel Continental Forum 4* or similar.

Day 3 Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara – Targu Mures - Bistrita

After breakfast we will cross the typical Transylvanian villages and arrive in Biertan where we will visit the Unesco fortified church. Later we will arrive Sighisoara where we can have the lunch right in the house where Vlad Dracula was born. Visit the medieval Unesco citadel and departure to Targu Mures where we will have a short stop. Overnight in Hotel Golden Crown 4*

Day 4 Bistrita – Voronet – Moldovita – Sucevita – Gura Humorului

We have breakfast and depart to Bucovina that means “land covered by forests of beech trees”. Visit three of the most important monasteries from Bucovina: Moldovita, Sucevita and Voronet

Overnight in Best Western 4* in Gura Humorului or Gerald's 4* in Radauti.

Day 5 Gura Humorului – Piatra Neamt – Red Lake – Miercurea Ciuc

Departure to Piatra Neamt where we will have a short stop and we will continue on one of the most beautiful roads in Romania crossing the Bicaz Gorges. After a visit of the Red Lake we will arrive in the evening at Miercurea Ciuc. Overnight in Hotel Fenyo 3*

Day 6 Miercurea CIuc – Brasov – Bran – Sinaia

Departure to one of the beautiful cities in Romania that is Brasov, where you will visit the famous Black Church, the largest Gothic building in the South East Europe. Next, we'll head to Bran where you will visit the famous castle that inspired the novel Dracula. Overnight in Hotel New Montana 4* in Sinaia or similar.

Day 7 Sinaia – Bucarest

In the morning visit the Peles Castle, considered among the most beautiful in Europe. Peles Castle is a masterpiece of eclectic architecture dominated by neo German Renaissance style

Later, we will departure to Bucharest where we will stop for a visit of the Village Museum. After lunch we will enjoy a visit of the Parliament Building, the second largest building of the world after the Pentagon and the old town of Bucharest. Dinner in a famous restaurant and overnight in Bucharest in Hotel Novotel 4* or similar.

Free time and transfer to the airport
