Full day tour -Best preserved Delta in Europe

Program of your full day tour:

07:30 a.m. – Pick-up by car / minibus from your hotel;

11.30 a.m. – Arrival in Tulcea – the capital city of Tulcea county, the departure point for most part of the Danube Delta cruises.

12:00 – Starting our Danube Delta boat trip from Carpatia pontoon on the following route:

TULCEA –MILA 36 CHANNEL –SIREASA CHANNEL –SONTEA VECHE CHANNEL – BACLANESTI LAKE – FORTUNA LAKE – SONTEA CHANNEL – OLGUTA CHANNEL – MILA 23 VILLAGE ( STOP FOR APPROX. 1 HOUR)– RETURN SONTEA CHANNEL – BABARADA CHANNEL – SULINA CHANNEL – TULCEA-

On our boat itinerary, we will pass through Mila 36 Channel, a well-known fishing place and from here we will continue our drive on the channels where, both on the right and the left side, we will be able to observe several lakes ( Lake Baclanesti and Fortuna) limited by reed shelters and offering perfect living space for different kinds of bird species: cormorants, grey herons, yellow herons, glossy ibises and egrets. We will have the opportunity to admire also floating islands of water lilies that offer places a special charm.

We will make short stops on the way to admire the landscape and take unique pictures. The longest stop will be in Mila 23 village, a typical fishing village, where you can have a typical fish lunch prepared by the locals (optional). Lunch can be also served on the boat.

After this, we will return to our departure place in Tulcea, in order to meet the car / bus that will drive us back to Bucharest.
