Targoviste Princely Court where you will learn that, not far away from Bucharest, the small town of Targoviste played a monumental role in the history of the country. Apart of the royal past in which the city served as the capital of the great Wallachia country for a couple of centuries (between 1418-1659), it is also the main residence of the Vlad the Impaler. During your tour, you will also have the change to admire

Chindia Tower and the

Princely Church.

Our second stop will be at the beautiful

Poienari Fortness. Once a powerful fortress, Poienari is the one and only place where the great warrior had ever lived and so forth the fortress it’s a legendary strategic place (safeguarding a secret pass between Wallachia with Transylvania). The area around the citadel is gorgeous but take in mind you will need to climb the 1470 steps to reach the breathtaking sighting.

We will continue our tour with a visit to

Curtea de Arges, where you will admire the timid, sweet-natured charm, embellished by the treasures left over from town’s noble history as this little town was the capital of Wallachia, back in the 14th Century.

After the completion of your "scary" tour, enjoy the trip back to Bucharest and don't forget to bid your tour guide farewell after he will drop you at your hotel/hostel.
