Itinerary

Day 1: BUCHAREST – SINAIA - BRASOV

Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
In the morning meet with our guide iat your hotel in Bucharest or at the airport (for flights arriving up to 11.00).

Leave the city on the route to Sinaia. Visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian kings. Peles castle is considered one of the best castles in Europe.

Stop At: Brasov Historical Center, Piazza Sfatului, Brasov Romania
End the day in Brasov with a visit of the medieval center of Brasov, Walking tour in the Old Town of Brasov, having an old history since 1235. The main sites are: Council Square, Black Chuch, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ecaterina’s Gate, St Nicholas Church, The Rope’s street, a.s.o.

Day 2: BRASOV - PREJMER – SIGHISOARA - BRASOV

Stop At: Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer, East side of the Brasov Depression, Prejmer 507165 Romania
Breakfast. Depart from Brasov to explore the saxon heritages from the Transylvania. First stop and visit at Prejmer Fortress, one of the best preserved of its kind in Eastern Europe The church is modeled after churches of Jerusalem, as well as built in the style of Late Gothic churches.

Stop At: Sighisoara Historic Center, Piata Cetatii Nr.1 Center of Sighisoara, Sighisoara 545400 Romania
Then we’ll arrive at Sighisoara, an old medieval town (UNESCO). The main sights: Clock Tower and History Museum, Birth place of Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler), Covered stairs, Church on the Hill, towers and fortifications…

Pass By: Cetatea Rupea, Strada Cetatii, Rupea 505500 Romania
Return to Brasov. On the route can also be admired old saxon villages, the Rupea Citadel, the Saschiz Chuch, the Saschiz Citadel. Accomodation in the same hotel.

Day 3: BRASOV – HUNEDOARA – SIBIU – BRASOV

Stop At: Castelul Corvinilor, Strada Castelului 1-3, Hunedoara 331141 Romania
Today it is a long drive therefore we’ll leave at 8.00 AM. We’ll continue our tour in Transylvania driving to Hunedoara in order to visit the biggest medieval castle from Romania – Hunyad Castle, dating since 14th century.

Stop At: Big Square (Piata Mare), Sibiu Romania
Next we’ll drive to Sibiu – one of the most important medieval cities from Transylvania. Walking tour in the old town. Highlights: Big Square, Little Square, Orthodox and Evanghelic Cathedrals, Liars bridge, aso.

Return to Brasov. Accomodation in the same hotel.

Day 4: BRASOV – RASNOV - BRAN – BUCHAREST

Stop At: Rasnov Citadel, Unirii Square no. 12, Rasnov 505400 Romania
Breakfast. Today we’ll visit two of the most fortified castles from south Transylvania. First one is Rasnov Fortress. Built in 1331, the Fortress had a defence role and it was a shelter for the inhabitants of Rasnov in case of enemy attacks.

Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania
Continue your journey to Bran with it’s famous Bran castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, the castle got its fame from Dracula`s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola.. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377.

After the Bran Castle visit you can spend some time for souvenires shooping and than leave Transylvania and go back to Bucharest. Arriving in the afternoon )aprox 15.00).
