This jam-packed two-day adventure through Transylvania was amazing. Our guide, Micai, is extremely knowledgeable about the area and sights, and ensured that we saw the best of each location. On day 1, we visited two monasteries, the town of Sibiu, and ended in the town of Sighisoara. One of the highlights was definitely having dinner that night in the house where Vlad Tepes Vlad the Impaler was born. The hotel we stayed at was very comfortable and had wonderful medieval charm. On day 2, we took a short walk around Sighisoara, then got back in the car and went to the towns of Brasov and Bran. In Brasov we walked all over, seeing the cathedral, main square, and castle walls, and in Bran we got to walk through Bran Castle which is just stunning. Our last stop was Peles Castle, where Micai told us a lot of information about the castle and the artifacts inside. That castle is also not to be missed it is breathtaking inside. All in all we had an amazing time, were right on schedule, and got to see a lot. We also had lots of fun chatting with Micai during the drives, learning more about Romanian culture and history and stopping for awesome coffee!. Those two days are packed with so many wonderful sights to see that this trip is TOTALLY worth it!
