The tour starts from Bucharest and you will be travelling for 2 hours to get to the scenic town of Sinaia where Peles Castle is located. The castle is considered one of the most beautiful ones in Romania and Europe. Former residence of the Romanian royal family, the castle was built in an elegant Neo-Renaissance and Gothic revival style at the wish of King Carol I of Romania between 1873 and 1914. Peles Castle is one of the most important historic edifices in Romania. With unique character, a historical and artistic value, it definitely is an important monument of its kind in 19th century Europe. In 1883 Peles Castle was officially inaugurated serving as the summer residence of the royal family until 1948.

Known as Dracula's Castle, it was built between 1377 and 1382 by the local Saxons after King Louis I of Anjou granted them this right, the fortress remained for long periods of time under the control of the city of Brasov with a few major exceptions.
The castle is owned by the descendants of Queen Marie, to whom it was given in 1920 as a token of appreciation for her efforts to unify Romania. After her death, Bran Castle was inherited by her daughter, Princess Ileana, who ran it as a hospital during World War II. The castle is now a museum dedicated to displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie.

Brasov is located in the central part of the country, surrounded by the Southern Carpathians, and is part of the Transylvania region. The city was first attested in 1252 under the Latin name Corona or the German name Kronstadt, which means "Crown City".
Traces of the German colonists can be seen in the gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, and together with the wealth of historical attractions, makes Brasov one of the most visited places in Romania.
