Private 2-Day Tour: Famous Castles of Romania from Bucharest

Day 1:

Superb castles, lofty mountains, a medieval town and a superb road trip. That is what you will enjoy in this private tour which includes a one night accommodation in Brasov. Today, you will depart Prahova Valley to Brasov. After an hour and a half, a stop will be made in the town of Sinaia, where you will visit the superb Peles Castle, the residence of the Romanian royal family. Continuing on with the journey toward Brasov, visit Rasnov Citadel, the most well kept Citadel from Transylvania. The next stop will be to the Bran Castle, where you will learn everything there is to know about the myth of Dracula, Bram Stoker’s character, linked to this castle and to this area of Transylvania. In the evening you will reach Brasov and enjoy an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will explore the historical center of the city. Stroll through Council Square, Black Church, the old city fortification walls, Brasov Citadel, Rope Street, and also the lofty Citadel and Fortified Church from Prejmer, also a UNESCO world heritage site.
