DELICIOUS LOCAL FOOD
We know how good it feels to have warm, healthy and delicious food waiting at the end of each hard day. We hand-picked the spots where will be eating to offer just that.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrive at Bucharest International Airport in the capital city of Romania. Onward to Sibiu.
DAY 2: You start your epic trip with...an epic climb: the Transfagarasan. Prepare for 35 kilometers of suffering and spectacular views. You start at a height of just 600 meters only to arrive at 2.100 meters a couple of hours later. After conquering this climb we descend on the Southern side of the Carpathians for some well deserved R&R.
DAY 3: You have a long and winding track for today. A 110 kilometers stretch down the Transfagarasan and towards Transalpina your next big challenge on the trip.
DAY 4: Today is a easy, recovery day. Those who don't fee like cycling can relax at the pool.
DAY 5: You'll remember this day forever. It will be the day when you'll say: "Man, that Transfagarasan climb was easy!". We take on Transalpina climb: a 30 kilometers ride, 7% average gradient and a maximum of 23% at times. After conquering the climb we descent back on the Northers side of the Carpathians, into Transylvania.
DAY 6: Don't think if this is the last day you don't have some climbing on the menu. We cycle towards Sibiu on a more gentle and hilly track and our final destination is Romanians highest resort. Finally, now it's time for some Spa & Massage and relaxation. And a giant bowl of pasta!
DAY 7: Departure to Bucharest International Airport.
