About this activity
Uncover some of the hidden and less known treasures of Bucharest with your knowledgeable guide.
We shall start our tour in the centre of the city. A short walk will bring us to the Ioanid Park, that shows us the unique 19th-20th century architecture of the area. Narrow roads take us to the Romanian Athenaeum, one of the most beautiful concert halls of the world, and the Royal Palace. Past the Central University Library and the former Central Committee of the Communist Party. In this area started the Romanian Revolution of 1989, when the Communist Regime has been turned down.In this area started the Romanian Revolution of 1989, when the Communist Regime has been turned down. We soon reach the Army Club and enter the oldest part of Bucharest. This area basicallz forms the craddle of the city, now hosting many cafes, restaurants and pubs, alongside with the financial headquaters of the city. At one of the restaurants, our tour comes to an end.
