Your visit to the Hungarian Parliament Building begins with a pick-up at your Budapest hotel. When you arrive at the impressive building, your guide will take you on a 1-hour tour of one of the oldest legislative buildings in Europe. Be advised that the Hungarian Parliament has a strong security system ( just like at an airport) and you should also keep your passport or ID card with you on for the time of the visit!

Inside the building a professional guide will take you through the halls and rooms of the buildings. You can admire the magnificent Neo-Gothic structure before entering the building for your guided tour. Once inside your guide will take you through the splendid session room and to see the impressive staircase and the 16-sided central hall on your walk around Hungary’s largest building.

Your tour ends at the Parliament and you are free then to continue exploring the downtown area.

It was a very good tour of the Hungarian Parliament. Good information on the history of the kings of Hungary and their national treasure the golden crown of their first king who is also a saint.

Picked up at our hotel but taken to an office, not directly to the Parliament, where we waited for a coach to take us to the Parliament about 5 minutes drive away. The company's tour guide, Ingrid was excellent, giving us plenty of information about the building's construction, war time damage and importance to the Hungarian People. Magnificent inside.

this was an amazing trip we saw some of the city and had a description of the area around the parliament The guide was very good and well worth the money.

This was an interesting tour once inside the building, which was given by the official guide from Parliament, NOT the tour operator. I could have paid directly through the Parliament website for half the price. It was poor value for money because the tour didn't involve much more. We began by waiting for a long time on the coach before departing as people arrived late, then it was a very short drive to Parliament, we did have a short commentary whilst driving. We were given a 5 minute talk outside the building. Hardly worth the extra price, so my advice is book it directly.

Rip off alert! This is NOT a 1 hour tour of the parliament. Once they gather you at a central location there is a lame tour of the city while the bus inches its way through traffic. At the parliament building you do skip the lines but you are passed off to a regular tour. Nothing special.
