Itinerary

Day 1: Budapest Sightseeing Day-tour

Stop At: Heroes' Square, Andrassy Avenue Next to City Park in the VI. District, Budapest 1062 Hungary
We will take the historic metro #1 to arrive to the square, where I can tell you a little bit about the history of Budapest and the square.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Vajdahunyad Castle (Vajdahunyadvar), Vajdahunyad var Varosliget, Budapest 1146 Hungary
After the Heroe's Square we'll take a small stroll behind the park to visit many interesting things along the way. Including Vajdahunyad Castle

Stop At: Andrassy Avenue, Andrassy ut, Budapest 1061 Hungary
On our way back to Deák Ferenc Square (city centre) we will take a ride down the famous Andrassy Avenue to see the UNESCO world heretige sight with all of its neo-Renaissance buildings

Stop At: Great / Central Synagogue (Nagy Zsinagoga), Dohany utca 2-8, Budapest 1074 Hungary
After arriving back to the centre we'll stroll down the Jewish-quarter where you can see the big jewish synagogue. After this we'll take the most scenic tram ride along the danube with the tram #2.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Shoes on the Danube, Between Szechenyi ter and Kossuth ter, Budapest 1054 Hungary
After arriving with the most scenic tram ride of your life (thanks via the tram #2) we'll arrive at the "Shoes on the Danube" where I can tell you the history behind it.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Hungarian Parliament Building, Kossuth Ter 1-3, Budapest 1055 Hungary
After visiting the "Shoes on the Danube" we can take a stroll around the square, which sorrounds the parliament of Budapest to snap some photos and to get a close look.

Stop At: Vaci Street, Budapest 1056 Hungary
After inspecting the Parliament, we'll had back to the center to see the most famous Váci street.

It is important to mention, that by this time You'll probably be hungry and want to grab some food. Depending on your food preferences I'll take you to a good and not so touristy place to enjoy a well earned meal ;) .

Stop At: Buda Castle, Szent Gyorgy Ter, Budapest 1014 Hungary
We'll take the small electric bus #16 all the way up to the castle district, where we will explore everything of interest. Starting from the labyrinths where Count Dracula was held captive, we'll visit the Mathias Church and the fisherman's bastions. Even a ww2 Bunker-hospital if you wish to do so.

Day 2: Gastronomy tour around Keszthely & Lake Balaton

Stop At: Festetics Palace, Kastely utca 1, Keszthely 8360 Hungary
If you haven't been here before it is a MUST see. Aside from the palace, there are a lot of attractions surrounding the place. The visiting of the gardens are free. If you wish to enter all the buildings it's 12 EUR for Adults and 6 EUR for Youth (6-26).

Stop At: Gyógynövények Völgye ökológiai gazdaság, Zalaszentlászló, Vörösmajor, 0154., 8788 Hungary
I will take you to a special place deep in the forest, to introduce you to people, who show you a truly natural way of life. They will teach you how to make your own herbal medicine and you'll be able to get some local snacks and pet some animals.

Admission fee is 5 EUR/ person, including the workshop, the snacks and the herbal produce you have made

Stop At: Szentmihálypusztai Lovastanya, Zalaszentlászló-Szentmihálypuszta, HRSZ: 099, 8788 Hungary
If you wish I can take you to a special horse-farm where you'll have the chance to see even more animals and mor from the "farm life" and even ride horse-carriges if you wish to do so.

Stop At: Kisgörbői Pálinkaház, Kisgörbő, 8356 Hungary
I will take you to a place where you'll be able to try out some of the finest locally made Pálinka. A simply magnificent drink and beautiful views to accompany it. After the tasting You'll have the oppurtunity to procure these fine drinks.

Stop At: Tátika Castle, Zalaszántó, 46°54'22.1"N 17°15'36.6"E, 8353 Hungary
I will take you to a forgotten castle ruin, where I can tell you some folklore stories about the region lake balaton and even the unknown story of this castle. The forest covered ruin on the hilltop is surely going to help you immerse yourself in the epic tales, which are about to take you on a travel back in time.

Stop At: Party Csóka Étterem és Kávézó, Balatongyörök, 8313,, Strand u., 8315 Hungary
What better way to end the day, then eating some good quality food from one of the most renowned places in the vicinity, accompanied by the most beautiful view of lake-balaton. I try to end the day during a sunset to give you the oppurtunity to see the "Golden bridge" over the lake. It is a truly magnificent sight, which is mentioned in plenty of books and poems. Good Quality does not come at a high price at this place. You will also have to oppurtunity to do a wine sampling of the local wineyards.
