
City Center Segway Tour
Regardless of the time of day, the segway tour gives you a perfect overview of the centre of Pest and the bank of the Danube. Starting from central located office, you will roll through the whole city centre seeing sights such as the Vörösmarty Square, the Danube Promenade, the fabulous Chain Bridge and tretching close to it. You will also take a look at the Liberty Square and the city’s largest cathedral, the St Stephen’s Basilica.
You will start your tour starts at the neo-Renaissance Hungarian State Opera House Opera House. You will then glide down the famous world heritage site, Andrássy Avenue. Marvel at the avenue's eclectic neo-renaissance houses and palaces as your guide gives you insightful commentary. You will then head to the biggest church in Budapest, St Steven's Basilica. This magnificent basilica was dedicated to Hungary’s first king, St. Stephen and is a must-see. Then you shall glide straight to the House of Parliament followed by a view point that overlooks the nerve center of Budapest, the Castle District. You will also visit Liberty Square, nestled in the heart of Budapest, a picturesque square that houses awe inspiring statues of liberty and freedom. After which, you shall head back to the Opera house to conclude the tour.
The segway tours usually do not have more than 6 participants, making them an interactive and personal adventure designed for your tastes. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and get to know your experienced local guide better.
