We have had food tours in other cities we rated higher. This was good but not excellent. We had 2 stops for meats which was not needed and was overlapping. Another option would have been better. The food was all good and enjoyable and the guide was very gracious and knowledgeable about all the foods but did not include any culture local history with it. She also adapted quickly and provided non alcoholic beverages to our group of 8 all non-drinkers at our stop at beer place. The info on the reservation was not passed to her.
Really disappointed in this tour. Our guide was friendly enough but he was in no way knowledgeable about food! He told us he was a history teacher so we expected a lot more background on the city and history of the various foods we were trying. We covered a lot of ground and I enjoyed most of the foods we did try however you could easily do this yourself with a map and some recommendations of places and foods to try.
