Start your tour on one of the most popular central squares of Budapest. Let your host give you a short introduction to the city and the city’s flourishing and famous coffeehouse culture, rooting back to the Austrian-Hungarian-Monarchy era.

Then walk to one of the nicest coffeehouses with a delicious and famous Marzipan background, started as a family business at the beginning of the 20st century.

Get seated and enjoy a coffee speciality of the house and enjoy a tasting of one of the most famous Hungarian cakes with your coffee. Taste a selection of handmade pralines also including marzipan.

Then we walk down to the Danube while grabbing a chimney cake from a street vendor, a wonderful sweet with a more centuries old tradition, and savor the view and get the prettiest and significant spots of this bubbling city pointed out with a short introduction to them.

Your local host will leave you here, so you can have a nice walk and enjoy the view along the Danube or can also help you with instructions to get to your next destination.
