About this activity
The route will take us through Buenos Aires beginning with the north of the city, passing through the neighborhoods of Retiro, Palermo and Recoleta. Vast green spaces, beautiful French-style mansions, reflecting the glory years of high Buenosairean society of the early twentieth century with its museums, monuments and natural ravines. Continuing towards the center of the city, emblematic Av. 9 de Julio, we see Teatro Colon and the Obelisk. Arrive at the Plaza de Mayo, a place where our city was founded in 1580, Government House, the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. There we will have our first stop.
Continuing south, we will begin to visit the suburbs, where air Tango breathe in his native neighborhood of San Telmo, arrive to La Boca neighborhood where is its more famous Bombonera: the stadium Club Atletico Boca Juniors, second descent with free time. Accompanied by colorful tenements, dwelling place of the Italians in the late nineteenth century immigrants we arrive at the picturesque Caminito street. This will be the last downhill ride with time.
We end our tour in the trendy Puerto Madero, restored since 1990, it is the largest and most varied gastronomic area of Buenos Aires; there we will see the Puente de la Mujer. From there we will take the passengers to enjoy a navigation of about 30 minutes, by the Rio de la Plata, to obtain the best panoramic views of the city of Buenos Aires. During navigation you will be offered complimentary coffee and Alfajor.
This is the best combination to know the City of Buenos Aires crossing its traditional streets and the river that bathes its coasts!
