9 de Julio Avenue is one of the main arteries of the City of Buenos Aires, capital of the Argentine Republic. It runs about one kilometer inside the city center of the city in a north-south direction, parallel to the coast of the Río de la Plata.

It is known because it is the Obelisk (at the junction with Corrientes Avenue), and for being one of the widest avenues in the world.

It takes its name in honor of the day of the declaration of independence of the country, made on July 9, 1816. Its width is 140 meters.

Galerias Pacifico is the name of a commercial mall of Buenos Aires located in the historic Pacific building built in the 19th century in the heart of the city, which occupies the entire block bounded by Florida, Viamonte and San Martín streets and Cordoba Avenue. In the center of it is a series of famous murals made in 1945-1947 on the interior wall of the dome, by several of the most prominent Argentine painters (Antonio Berni, Lino Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino and Demetrio Urruchúa) and Galician Manuel Colmeiro Guimarás, considered the most important manifestation of Argentine muralism.

From its first performance in May 25, 1908, in which the opera Aida, by Giuseppe Verdi, was presented, the most important directors, singers and dancers in history performed, such as Igor Stravinsky, Herbert von Karajan, Daniel Barenboim, Maria Callas, Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, Rudolf Nureyev, Julio Bocca and Maximiliano Guerra.

Once the dinner is over at 08:00 PM, musicians, dancers and singers will perform on a live Tango and Folklore show that will definetely be memorable.
