Me and the wifey, had an enjoyable experience. It was our 1st camel ride. The trek along the pacific coast was relaxing and mesmerizing. We would for sure recommend Cabo Adventures to any traveler visiting the Baja Pennisula. The entire experience from hotel transportation to the facilities was exceptional. We will for sure utilize Cabo Adventures for all of our future excursion needs.
The tour guide Chris was awesome Great experience overall But the time on the camel ride should be longer . At least 30 minutes . I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Ted made all the difference, we was great. Loved the info about the camels and plant life.
I loved this excursion. Riding the camels was amazing and loved the pictures we were able to purchase at the end. Our guide was so fun and informative as he told us about the desert terrain and information about the various cactus and plants. We also had a great lunch including tequila tasting !! Highly recommend this tour
My husband and two adult daughters joined me on this trip. We had to walk down from our resort to the aquarium at the Cabo San Lucas Harbor to get the bus which took us out of town to where they run the camels. We were not permitted to take our own photos with the camels, but rather their photographers took pictures which were quite expensive to buy at the end of the tour Packages @ 100.00 US. We did not buy any. For the price of the tour, they could have included one picture, with the option to buy more, if interested. They put two riders on each camel but I do not think they size up the riders with the size of the camel, rather it was first come, first serve. My husband and daughter are both on the larger side and found themselves on the thinest of the animals. In short order their camel rebelled and sat down and refused to get back up, no matter how much their guide coaxed it along. After only a few feet, camels walk in single, file and escorted by a guide my husband and daughter aborted their ride, for fear of injury, and chose to walk back to our meeting place on their own steam. Next, the walking tour through the dessert to explore fauna and flora was very interesting and our guide was informative. Lastly, the authentic Mexican meal was very good and interesting although they ran out of dessert. They had a wondeful coffee beverage, loaded with sweet cream and chocloate AND, the best part of this expensive adventure was the tequilla tasting. We had several to try and we could have as much as we wished. That was a surprise. Now about the aboprted camel ride, to make up, our tour guide after having my husband complete an incident report presented him with a gift of a large bottle of their local tequilla, which was a very nice consolation prize although the value did not compare to what the aborted rides for two cost. Finally, we were safely driven back to our starting point at the aquarium at the harbor in Cabo San Lucas. All-in-All, this company attempted to take responsibility for the botched day. I recommend they do a better job sizing their animals to their guests so that the guests can enjoy the adventure they paid for and expected to have, and the animals are not made to carry a weight they are not capable of. Thankyou
If you are looking for something different to do this is a great tour. The guides are very nice and very funny. The camel ride was great and a once in a lifetime experience- how often do you get to ride a camel on the beach? You also get to have your picture taken with a special camel and give him a treat. Lunch was very good and the tequila tasting that followed gave some good information on how tequila is made and the different types. The kids learned how to make corn tortillas from scratch and got to try their hand at it. Definitely a fun experience.
