Stop At: El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, Cabo San Lucas T2A 6P2 Mexico

Your tour begins as your captain welcomes you on board and the crew will offer our welcome drink, beer or the drink of your preference. Then, you'll head out to Cabo's number one landmark "The Arch", providing time for the obligated picture with friends and loved ones.

From there, you'll head to "look for whales" as the crew know their whales, their characteristics, behavior and how to follow them without disturbing them, and as the rules dictate. See these amazing creatures and take incredible pictures with the breathtaking background Cabos has to offer.

After you have taken all the pictures you wanted, the captain will take you to a calm place to have dinner with a good variety of food to enjoy. It is all fresh, prepared on board for you! The crew will also have a show for you and the dance floor will be open so you can dance your way back to the marina.

We had a great time! The service was great, drinks kept coming, and the staff was fun, friendly, and very engaging. As a bonus, we saw whales - one even breached the water! The sunset was fabulous and the vibe was fun. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the food. We thought it would be a buffet with choices but there were just tacos with your choice of beef or chicken. And it wasn't all that great. We didn't go for the food though, and the experience was great. If you are looking for a whale-watching sunset cruise and the dinner is not that important, this is one to definitely consider!

We booked this trip on line several weeks in advance of our trip for Thursday evening. I received an email back the day after I booked it that the trip was sold out, and was asked to move to Tuesday. I agreed and we made plans to go. on Tuesday afternoon, one hour before we were to meet at the boat I receive an email that the trip had been cancelled, and they offered no explanation. They asked if we could go another time, and I suggested Thursday, which they said was fine was supposed to be sold out?. We went on Thursday, and the boat was perhaps 1/2 full. Unless they had many cancellations it is hard to believe it was ever sold out. We did find out from the crew that the problem on Tuesday had been that someone bought the entire tour for a private group that afternoon, so they cancelled those with reservations. It was pretty inconsiderate with such short notice, and I was very concerned since my credit card had already been billed for the fee. The boat and the crew we had for our whale watching trip were outstanding, with plenty of room, and plenty of included beverages. The crew was friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. They took us out to and around the arch, allowed photo opportunities, and they explained what we were seeing. We were then able to find and follow whales easily, and the staff explained in great detail everything one would want to know about whales and why they are in Mexico. After the first hour or little more they served dinner, which was very average local food. Luckily we were not counting on a great meal, and the end time of 6:30 allowed us to go to dinner back on land. We snacked on chips and guacamole, but did see there was an option for ordering a lobster tail - a good idea. Once dinner was over the boat stopped, and the crew began their show. Unfortunately this was mostly just recognizing birthdays, etc. of guests. It then became a dance party, which we were really not interested in. We would much rather have spent 30 more minutes watching whales and skipped the line dancing. Others did seem to enjoy it though, so I cannot speak for all. Overall it was a good trip, but not sure I would book with them again.
