Located in the lively city of El Puerto de Santa María, one of the three corner points that form the Sherry County also known as “El Marco de Jerez”, Bodegas Gutierrez Colosia founded in 1838 is heir to a long viticulture and wine producing tradition.
On your tour, you will discover the splendid cathedral-like architectural style of the Sherry Bodegas; you will learn first-hand about the characteristic Sherry production process and the wide range of Sherry wines, each of them with its own particular temperament and singularity.
Finally, you will taste six different Sherry Wines from the bright straw yellow Fino to the dark ebony colored Pedro Ximenez, different wines that allow you to explore the endless spectrum of colors, the extraordinary variety of bouquets and textures that make up the universe of Sherry Wines and a sample of Brandy "Amerigo Vespucci" with more than 10 years of aging.

This was an excellent tour. The tour guide explained every part of the process in a very interesting manner and the tasting at the end was very interesting too. Definitely worth the trip which we did from Cadiz by bus as boat not operating but there appears to be an option by train too,. The winery is on the front row close to the bus stop. A highlight of our time in Cadiz

Excellent guide, excellent tour. Well worth it.
Very pleased we booked this. The bodega is very old and atmospheric smells amazing! and the sherries still made here. Knowledgeable guide and generous tastings with nibbles. Great to get the ferry across from Cadiz to El Puerto de Santa Maria you can see the Bodega from the water so it's very easy to find and only 2/3 minutes walk from the disembarkation place. Takes around 30 minutes and costs 2/3 euros. Highly recommended.
Great tour and easily worth the money. My 89-year old Mom requires a wheelchair, and we checked out this tour in advance for accessibility. Although my wife and I have traveled internationally many times, this was the first-ever trip outside the U.S. for Mom. She had no idea what to expect, but let's just say Viator and our tour guide exceeded all expectations. She especially liked the sherry-tasting part of the tour. :
Well worth a visit. An excellent insight into how sherry is made. The guide was very knowledgeable. The sherry tasting and the end was worth the entrance fee on it's own! Recommended.
