Overall the tour is fine if you are looking for a good way to explore the Reef. But it has many cons. Way too much people on the station. Way Too loud, too crowded... People were yelling SO MUCH that we ended up with headaches, all these was a reason we couldn't enjoy reef properly. Best part was definitely helicopter. It is A MUST DO on great barrier reef, you will never ever see the reef in a better way. I am very glad we've done that. The rest... I was expecting more diverse sea life while snorkeling. little space, crowded with people and looked like fishes where domesticated cause i was seeing the same 3,4 spieces over and over again. Semi submarine boat was very old. Literally VERY VERY VEEEERY POOR VISIBILITY. I was very very disappointed. Overall I recommend take some other tours. It was our first time in Cairns and we had only one full day, we booked this tour because it was 2 in one - Helicopter and snorkeling on station. If I know what was the station look like, how crowded it would be and how elementary touristicly simple it would be I would never ever booked it. Please!!! Don't take it. Trust me you will be disappointed, you will not enjoy reef at all. What I would recommend , take e boat to green island, at least you will have a beach , and absolutely try to see the reef from above with helicopter, even if you have to book two different tours it is much better then this tour. I wish I knew , I would take helicopter and then green island snorkeling.
