On this tour you will explore Egypt's beautiful second city, Alexandria better known as the mermaid of the Mediterranean which is considered to be the second capital of Egypt.
Alexandria lies north west of the Nile delta. It is linked to Cairo by the delta road (231 km) and the desert road about (225 km ). It is one of the most notable summer resorts known for its temperate winter and beaches with soft sand and magnificent scenery.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned coach. The journey to and from Alexandria will take approximately 3 hours each way. You will have a guided tour of the city, including the visit of the Catacombs of kom El Shuqafah dates from the second century A.D and unique both for their plan and their decorations which is a mixture Egyptian and greaco Roman elements., then visit The so called Pompey's pillar which is a huge pillar of red granite. along with viewing the Kit bay Citadel, located on the island of Pharaohs where the old light house of Alexandria was. Then the visit of the most attractive building in Alexandria now ....The new library of Alexandria taking the shape of slanted sundisk and inaugurated in 2002..
