Stop At: Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, Maydan Salah al-Din, Cairo 11511 Egypt

Built between 1356 and 1363 by the Mamluk ruler Sultan Hassan, the Madrassa-Mosque of sultan Hassan is located at the Citadel Square, is considered as the pyramid of Islamic structures. This fascinating place was used as a school, mosque and mausoleum. Your Egyptologist will provide you with an introduction to the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles. The mosque is an excellent example of the gigantic structures of the Mamluke era.

Stop At: Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Al-Basatin, off Al-Saliba Street, Cairo 11511 Egypt

A short drive will take you to the 1150-year-old mosque of Ibn Tulun.it is the oldest and best preserved mosque in Egypt.it has a unique spiral tower which has an equal in the city of Samara in Iraq. The mosque has a tower that you can climb and enjoy a nice view over the city
