Full Day: Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan Khalili Bazaar Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza will be around 8:00am and from there you will visit the great pyramids: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. After, visit the valley temple where the priests mummified King Khafre and get a close up look at The Sphinx. The Sphinx is the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with a lion body and the head of King Khafre. Then there will be lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue your day tour at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which displays the largest and most precious items of Egyptian art in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamun. The collection includes the treasures, gold and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.

A visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar will show off the numerous shops in the district that are known for trading in fine brass ware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold and antiques. After, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
