Guided Day Tour to Giza Pyramids and Saqqara from Cairo with Felucca Ride and Derwish Show
1 day

About this activity
This magical day starts off at approximately 8:30am where you will be collected from your hotel. You will drive towards Giza to visit the greatest of all Egypt sites and probably the number one reason for anyone to visit Egypt – the Great Pyramids of Giza. The Great Pyramid is the largest of the three and it is quite an intimidating feeling to stand at the foot of this enormous structure. If time allows, you may enter the second Pyramid to view the inside of this structure.
After exploring the area of the two larger Pyramids, you will drive towards the plateau to have a panoramic view of the three Giza Pyramids. It is here where you can enjoy a relaxing camel ride and take priceless photos of you on a camel with the Pyramids in the backdrop.
Lunch is served at the Al Azhar Park situated in Islamic Cairo. This park is considered to be one of the things one should see before one dies. There is a magnificent view of the Mohamed Ali Mosque from the restaurant.
The next attraction, one of the most favored of all within this part of Islamic Cairo, is the Derwish Dances. These whirling dancers will leave you speechless. All they ask back is an applause as a form of appreciation for their skilled dancing. (Show only available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and the show starts at 8pm). The perfect ending to a very packed day in Cairo. The day ends at approximately 9:30pm when you will be transferred to your hotel.
