Stop At: Gamal Abdel Nasser Museum, 4 El-Khalifa El-Maamoun, Mansheya El-Bakry, Heliopolis, Cairo Governorate, Egypt
Here in Egypt we do have thousands of tourists who visit the old pharaonic
places, the seaside resorts at the Red Sea, the historical Islamic mosques,
palaces and fortresses, the oasis in the western desert etc.
But what about anything about the new history of Egypt?
I would like to show my guests the museum and tomb of our founder of
modern Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nasser.
The museum is placed in a quiet nice quarter in Cairo and is the former privat House of Nasser. The furnishing of his rooms are very simple and typical 50th Style. You can be oriented about his period of government by black/white Movies of this time. For guests which are also interested in the beginning of modern Egypt society it’s a must. I do have a special access to cane show you The main halls of the president's office have been reserved for both the ground and the first floors and the attached salons, in addition to the master bedroom, living room and two salons on the ground floor, as well as a collection hall and decorations.
You also can visit the impressive tomb of our former president and you can
better understand how our society started into the modern times.
