Private Guided Day Trip to Giza Pyramids and Saqqara including 1-Hour Sunrise Camel or Horse Ride and Egyptian Breakfast

Very early in the morning (4am), you will meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza. From there, your group will proceed to the Giza Plateau to ride a horse or a camel into the desert and watch first light reveal the pyramids and the Sphinx. Afterwards, enjoy a typical Egyptian breakfast that includes delicious falafel and brown fava beans. From there, you'll meet your guide and drive to the Saqqara complex to see the step pyramid of King Zoser, the founder of the third dynasty. Long considered the first pyramid, this structure was built by the pharaoh's genius architect Imhotep. You also have the chance to visit one of the tombs of noblemen with its marvelous daily life scenes and shining colors.

Next, drive back to the Giza pyramids to learn about the most famous of the ancient seven wonders of the world...the three pyramids built by the kings of the fourth dynasty: Cheops, Chephren, and Mycrinus. From there, travel to see the Sphinx which portrays the features of King Chephren, the builder of the second pyramid, and guards the necropolis of the Giza plateau. During your visit, you will also be able to enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant. That will conclude your tour, and your guide will drop you off at your hotel at the end.
