Chichen Itza Photography Tour

Your Chichen Itza adventure begins with pick up from your hotel in an air conditioned shuttle van starting between 7:30 and 8:00 am. You will be given your specific pickup time prior to the tour depending on the location of your hotel. On the drive to Chichen Itza your photography guide will give you helpful photography tips to help you get the best photos on your tour and answer any questions. Equipped with WiFi in the van you will be able to join a photo group to share your photos throughout the day.

Arriving at 10am you will start a 3-hour tour of Chichen Itza which will highlight the main structures and help you to get great shots of the amazing sites. Throughout the tour your photographer will be capturing shots of the tour; individual and group which you will receive by a private email link after the tour. The site takes up about 4 square miles with temples that are laid out like a representation of an enormous calendar. Explore the newest discoveries, photograph the ancient Mayan Ball Court, the Temple of the Jaguars, El Castillo and much more, with one on one and group instruction from your experienced photography guide.

Following the tour of Chichen Itza you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and you will have time to enjoy the grounds, go for a swim or explore the surrounding nature. While you are enjoying your lunch, your photographer will be setting up the location for your professional photo shoot.

Each guest will have an opportunity to sign up for a time for their photo shoot before departing from the group to enjoy the grounds. You will have the option to take individual shots, couple's portraits or family shoot with the members of your group. Each photo session will take approximately 15 - 20 minutes from which you will receive your 2 best shots edited and retouched in high resolution approximately one week after your tour.

You will also receive all of the shots from your shoot and any shots that your are in taken during the tour throughout the day with basic editing. There are no additional fees for prints, you may use your photos for web or print with the exception of commercial usage. Basic editing includes color correction and minor corrections, retouching and additional editing are not included.
Once all of the guests have finished their shoots and had an opportunity to explore the grounds you will meet at 3 pm to begin travel back to Cancun where you will be returned to your hotel between 5 and 6 pm.
