About this activity
Make your way to Punta Sam at 8:30am, then board a speedboat bound for Isla Contoy. After a 40-minute journey, arrive at a snorkeling spot on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef that's rife with colorful fish and sea turtles. Spend time snorkeling with your guide in the clear, warm Caribbean waters; enjoy a selection of on-board drinks and light snacks in between splashes.
After snorkeling, continue motoring along Isla Contoy's coastline to enjoy the views of this tiny island that's also a protected natural reserve. Step ashore to relax on the soft, white beach sand as a chef cooks your lunch of freshly caught fish, salad, guacamole, and chips. After lunch, visit Isla Mujeres for an hour of sightseeing and shopping, then return to Punta Sam around 4:30pm to conclude the tour.
