Day Trip to Contoy Island and Isla Mujeres from Playa del Carmen

Stop At: Parque Nacional Isla Contoy, 30 km al Norte de la Insula Reserva Protegida, Cancun Mexico

After pick up you at your hotel we drive to Punta Sam, near to Cancún. We departure to Isla Contoy on a speedboat at 9 am reaching the reef barrier, inside the Contoy’s natural Reserve. There we will stop for 40 minutes to snorkel this amazing crystal waters full of colorful coral and fish (if weather allows).

Afterwards we will get off the boat on the Isla Contoy for an ecological tour to admire the natural beauty of this paradisiacal island. 30 min walk (optional), visit the local museum (optional), climb to the viewpoint and watch the amazing landscape (optional), and to finish, we go to an incursion on the pristine lagoon, home of the 140 different bird species living in the island (optional).

And finally we’ll have lunch on the beautiful white sandy beach of Isla Contoy and next you’ll have extended free time at the beach before move to Isla Mujeres, for 1 hour at the downtown to walking around or shopping.
