Your South African cooking lesson with Jolandi will last about 1.5 hours. She is truly passionate about serving travelers authentic South African and Cape Malay cuisine and happy to welcome you into her kitchen to enjoy traditional South African cuisine over engaging conversation with her and her family. Your menu might include dishes such as Bunny Chow (a traditional Durban Indian dish) and Bobotie (a mince-based dish with fragrant but not spicy curry spices, topped with a custard layer) accompanied by local wine pairings. You will conclude your meal with malva pudding (a caramelized sponge cake) - a nostalgic dessert for most South Africans.

A wonderful Experience with welcoming hosts who had certainly gone the extra mile to make the meal an interesting one which show cases South African traditional cuisine. Carefully chosen wine accompanied each course and an added bonus was a personalized recipe and information booklet on the meal and the origins of the dishes being served.
