Caracas – Canaima National Park

Transfer to Maiquetía International Airport for flight Caracas – Puerto Ordaz, then, airport assistance for connecting flight Puerto Ordaz- Canaima. Arrival and transfer to the Lodge. Check in or

Puerto Ordaz- Canaima National Park

Transfer to Manuel Carlos Piar Guayana International Airport for flight Puerto Ordaz/ Canaima. Arrival and transfer to the Lodge. Check in.

After lunch, enjoy a short excursion by curiara (local canoe) over the Canaima Lagoon. The water and surface foam in rivers and lagoons are usually reddish, a phenomenon generated by the presence of tannin, an organic acid produced by vegetation decomposing under the sun.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Canaima

Full day free for optional excursions within the Canaima National Park. A visit to the base of the Angel Falls, to Orchid Island, Kavak or El Sapo waterfall are recommended.

Flights from / to Canaima the weight allowed is 10kgs per person including hand luggage, because those flights operates in small aircraft ( Jetstream 19 seats). We recommend the use of soft bags as airplanes are small and have little room for luggage
Please note: Important information: Flights operates with a Jetstream aircraft (19 seats) In Canaima, the excursions will depend on the season and the river flow at the time of the trip. Rainy season: May until Oct. (We recommend Full Day Salto Angel base). Dry Season: Nov until Apr. (We recommend Full Day Kavac with Salto Angel Over flight)
