Our family really enjoyed the Casablanca and Rabat Tour! Our tour guide, Abdel, was highly educated and brought us to some of the most historical and also beautiful sites in both cities. Most spectacular especially was seeing some of the most incredible religious architectural wonders which seem to highlight peace and community among the vast historical people of Morocco. We went on the tour with little knowledge of Morocco and left Abdel's tour with significant understanding of Morocco's vast culture and history. We are very thankful that we went on this tour. If you are considering going to Morocco, we highly recommend this tour.
Our guide Abdel met us at our pickup point (the oldest McDonalds in Casablanca) 30 minute before our van arrived which was about 20 minutes late due to heavy traffic. For the next 8 hours, Abdel introduced us and 3 other couples to these 2 cities. Highlights were the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat. Abdel is very knowledgeable of both cities and provided informative introductions of all the sites visited. And he gave us ample time to stroll on our own; never once were we rushed. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious Moroccan meal. At the request of the couples, Abdel stopped at an argon oil shop where we learned about and purchased some oil products. Upon returning to Casablanca, we were dropped off at our hotel. Abdel is a professional, knowledgeable, courteous guide. Our driver was very conscientious and focused of the difficult task of driving in these 2 cities.
First, I want to make clear that both our driver and our guide were consumate professionals, friendly and eager to please. They were everything one hopes for when assigned a driver and guide. Consequently, my low rating has absolutely nothing to do with them and their performance. The fact is that the sights included in this tour aren’t all that interesting —at least to warrant the expenditure of time and money required for this tour. The ones in Casablanca could easily be done on one’s own and what was done in Rabat wasn’t worth the drive in my opinion.
The tour was wonderful. Abdel and Arab were an amazing tour guide and driver with a great deal of information to share. The whole day was fun and astonishing. We came here ready to like Morocco and now we love it.
Excellent tour. The driver and guide both Abdel were great. Accommodated all our requests. They were very pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour.
Our driver was very courteous and professional, explaining the many sites we visited in Casablanca and Rabat as well as during our drive to Rabat. I would highly recommend this tour.
Amazing tour
A very good and interesting tour. We had a nice driver, Amin, who drove us around in a comfortable small Minivan to see the sites in Casablanca and Rabat. While we schedule was set, he also gave us flexibility as to where and when we preferred to eat our lunch. The only negative, and it is minor, is that the Viator overview suggests the van would be stocked with bottled water, but we only received one each. It was a great day trip, though, and we were quite happy with our guide.
