This day was amazing from start to finish. Communication/coordination with the company was smooth and easy. Our driver (Arab) was charismatic and chill, he had water and charging cords ready for us and was happy to chat with us whenever. First - the camel ride was a total blast! The folks running the camel excursion were super kind and the language barrier was no issue. It was longer than we anticipated which was perfect because we thought it was just going to be a photo-opp but it turned out to be a longer stroll really allowing us to see what long treks on the back of these creatures could have possibly felt like. Afterward we enjoyed an AMAZING lunch at this gorgeous home that we couldn't get enough of. Upon arrival to Marrakech our tour guide (Yousef) was awesome - super friendly and interesting. He covered a lot of really incredibly historical and cultural context behind what makes Marrakech unique, taking us to gorgeous sites and pointing out things we would have missed without his expertise. We never felt uncomfortable or unsafe, everyone we met and interacted with was incredibly friendly, generous and enthusiastic about their city and culture. This excursion was the perfect use of a day to see some of what makes Morocco so iconic, this excursion definitely made us want to return to Morocco again soon!!
It was a really nice tour overall, however, I would make it a bit longer. Leaving Marrakesh at 5 pm seems a little too early. I would like to especially thank the driver who was a great guy who helped us all along and made sure we saw enough of the city. He made this trip special for us!
little boring, hot weather and nothing to see except the souks
Our driver, Chakib Benmessaoud arrived at the designated time and location for the transfer to Marrekech. He was thoughtful and pointed out many interesting facts about Morocco along the way. Our tour guide, Hassan was very knowledgeable and accommodated our many detours to capture certain pictures and settings. He answered quite a number of questions along the way. We were able to see the old City, the Grand Bazaar, the King's residence, and many other locations during our stay. Our only wish was that we had planned to stay longer. We would definitely recommend this tour, driver and guide. If we are fortunate to return, we will request their assistance.
