About this activity

Start time 8.30 from your hotel or your wish pick-up place. We will visit the old Acropolis Area: Benedictine Monastery, Greek - Roman Theater, Ursino Castle. Catania plain, nord Catania landscape till Nicolosi passing throw Gravina and Macsalucia. In Nicolosi we will visit ( Red mounts Craters – 1669 lava flow ) About 5 km far from Nicolosi in Rifugio Sapienza direction we stop in quarries where it's possible to see the two differents kind of lava Basic and Acid. 15 km od typical lunar landscape, Piano Vetore and Rifugio Sapienza arrival. 2000 mt. o.s.l.We will go to vist and practise hiking for 1/2 hours in the Crateri Silvestri, Buttons system Craters 1892. Back in Catania around and we will go to vist Fish Market, Duomo square and Arancino ( rise ball ) taste.
