About this activity

On this tour we will discover the highest active volcano in Europe! The guide will pick you up at your accomodation place in the area of Catania by car or minivan.

Once arrived at 2.000 mt of altitude we will explore an underground lava cave, which we explore using helmets and torches. We will have a nice walk through ancient craters and lava flows from the latest big eruptions. During the walk the guide will explain you why Etna is known as the "Good Mountain" and all the vicissitudes of its history. At the end of the excursion we will have a lunch of typical Sicilian products.
