We start the excursion visiting the Byzantine Village, which is dug in the rock, where there are ancient dwellings and the ruins of a church.We will reach the Bat Cave, which is 270 metres long and is the home of many bats.
According to the weather and to you, it's possible to have a swim in the river. We’ll arrive in the ruins of an ancient palace which dates dack to XII century B.C., the Anaktoron, from which we can look at the quarries. We'll have lunch with typical food. In the afternoon, we'll go to Syracuse and visit Ortigia island, which is the historic centre of the city and we'll admire the Greek temples and churches, with also the small streets and squares and the Arethusa Fountain.
