Etna Excursion:

We'll visit a cave with the helmets and the lights provided by us. Then we go to visit a quarry to better understand and see the stratification of Etna and then the craters of 1892 and 2001. We'll leave the car at 2000 metres above the sea level and we'll go by walk until 2180 metres. 

After that, we'll go to have a food tasting for lunch of local products.

Etna and Alcantara

We'll visit a cave with the helmets and the lights provided by us. Then we go to visit a quarry to better understand and see the stratification of Etna and then the craters of 1892 and 2001. We'll leave the car at 2000 metres above the sea level and we'll go by walk until 2180 metres. 

After that, we'll go to have a food tasting for lunch of local products. After lunch we'll go to the Alcantara Gorges where you can have a reinvigorating swim in the Alcantara river.

We'll visit a cave with the helmets and the lights provided by us. Then we go to visit a quarry to better understand and see the stratification of Etna and then the craters of 1892 and 2001. We'll leave the car at 2000 metres above the sea level and we'll go by walk until 2180 metres. 

After that, we'll go to have a food tasting for lunch of local products. In the afternoon, we'll go to Taormina where you will walk along with our guides in the main street of Taormina. 

Etna e Acitrezza 

We'll visit a cave with the helmets and the lights provided by us. Then we go to visit a quarry to better understand and see the stratification of Etna and then the craters of 1892 and 2001. We'll leave the car at 2000 metres above the sea level and we'll go by walk until 2180 metres. 

After that, we'll go to have a food tasting for lunch of local products.

In the afternoon, we'll sail the Mediterranean sea on a typical boat with a fisherman to look at the Lachea Island and the Faraglioni with the basaltic columns which dates back at the first activity of the volcano. 

Siracusa and Pantalica

 

We start the excursion visiting the Byzantine Village, which is dug in the rock, where there are ancient dwellings and the ruins of a church.We will reach the Bat Cave, which is 270 metres long and is the home of many bats.

According to the weather and to you, it's possible to have a swim in the river. We’ll arrive in the ruins of an ancient palace which dates dack to XII century B.C., the Anaktoron, from which we can look at the quarries. We'll have lunch with typical food. In the afternoon, we'll go to Syracuse and visit Ortigia island, which is the historic centre of the city and we'll admire the Greek temples and churches, with also the small streets and squares and the Arethusa Fountain.
