Day 1: Chandigarh to Kalka to Shimla to Narkanda (175 Km)

Pass By: Chandigarh International Airport, New Civil Air Terminal, Mohali District, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab 140306, India
Land in Chandigarh and head towards Kalka to catch your toy train to Shimla at 11:30 AM.

Pass By: Kalka railway station, Railway Colony, Kalka, Haryana 133302, India
Kalka to Shimla through toy train offers a grand view of pine-covered hill tops, flora and fauna, and the typical picture which makes the hills, queen of hills. Toy Train is the best mode of transport to explore the treasuries of great Himalayas.

Pass By: Shimla Heritage Walk, Shimla Heritage Zone, Shimla India
Reach Shimla at 3:40.

At Shimla, Hop on to your vehicle to head towards Narkanda. Take appropriate breaks on the way and enjoy the beauty as you leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. Lose yourself amidst scenic valleys on either side of the road. Feel like you are staying in the middle of nowhere.

Stop At: Narkanda, Narkand, Himachal Pradesh 171213, India
Reach Narkanda at 5:00 PM. Your winter adventure begins.

Day 2: Narkanda to Kalpa (163 Km)

Pass By: Kinnaur, India
Leave early from Narkanda and enjoy the vistas en route. You can plan for lunch at Rampur. About 8 – 9 Hrs of beautiful drive through Kinnaur Valley.

Stop At: Reckong peo main market, Khwangi, Reckong Peo, Himachal Pradesh 172107, India
Overnight at Kalpa / Reckong Peo. Road to Kalpa might be closed due to snow but road to Reckong Peo remains open. This will be your last place where network will be coming, so call up your near & dear one. Once, you get past Reckong peo, there is no looking back and chances of getting stuck between Puh – Nako – Tabo road always remains high.

Day 3: Kalpa to Tabo (149 Km)

Pass By: Nako Lake, Nako Village, Kinnaur Distt Reckong Peo, 172114 India
This dream-like village from another time is located right next to the Tibetan border, above 3600 m above sea level altitude, in the Himalayan highlands of the Kinnaur. Nako Lake is a prominent feature here where it borders the village. Nako Monastery, dated to 1025 is located in the village as well as several other Buddhist chortens.

Start your day early and watch the vistas en route over Hindustan Tibet Highway. Check Out Khab, Confluence of Spiti and Satluj Rivers. Also, See the Leo Purygal Peak from Khab Bridge. Have your lunch at Nako, the Nako Lake will be frozen.

Stop At: Tabo Monastery, Tabo Village, 172113 India
After Chango – Sumdo you will enter Spiti Valley, on arrival we check in the hotel and in the evening we visit the “Ajanta of Himalayas”- Tabo monastery one of the oldest monastery in North India. Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Tabo to Kaza (49 Km)

Pass By: Dhankar Monastery, Sichling-Dhankhar Gompa, Dhankhar, Himachal Pradesh 172113, India
Take the morning easy, have your breakfast and visit Dhankar Monastery if the road is open - Dhankar used to be the Seat of the King in ancient times- the most beautiful setting for a monument which hangs on a cliff and overlooks the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers.

Stop At: Kibber Village, Kibber, Kaza India
Continue your ride to Kaza. Today’s stay will be arranged in a homestay. Make the most of your homestay experience by learning about local life, festivals and traditions from your host family.

Visit Gue Village on the route from Tabo to Kaza for a glance of Sangha Tenzin's mummy. The Mummy was found in a sitting position (which it remains to be in till date) with a rosary in one hand, with all body parts intact and a strange belt running down its spine, from neck to lower parts of the body.

Day 5: Kaza and Around

Pass By: Kibber Village, Kibber, Kaza India
After Breakfast, visit to Ki-monastery and Kibber Village (a highest village of Asia), not

more than 40 km both ways.You can chat with the locals over a cup of Tea. After breakfast, we shall head to Kye Monastery and Kibber Village, if the road is open. Kye monastery is on top of a mountain overlooking the Spiti valley and the Spiti river. After Key monastery, we will go a bit further and visit Kibber Village- which used to be one of the highest villages in the world once upon a time. Experience the stay in Ki Monastery. We want you to make the most of your experience, since you are ending the day early you can chose to help out in the kitchen in your homestay and maybe learn to make local food like momos or thukpa.

Day 6: Kaza to Pooh (144 Km)

Pass By: Spiti Valley, 172114 India
Start your day early and watch the vistas en route over Hindustan Tibet Highway. After Chango – Sumdo you will exit Spiti Valley, plan to have your lunch at Nako. Later arrive at Pooh where you can explore the village and visit the local monastery.

Day 7: Pooh to Sarahan (85 Km)

Pass By: Sarahan, Himachal Pradesh 173024, India
Enjoy the day at Sangla Valley, Visit Kamru Fort at Sangla. Sangla is a picturesque place, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The drive through the narrow road is spectacular, where our car crosses over streams and there are endless pastures and meadows below the lofty peaks and greenery all around. Reach Sarahan by the evening and overnight stay in Sarahan.

Day 8: Sarahan to Shimla (162 Km)

Pass By: Shimla Heritage Walk, Shimla Heritage Zone, Shimla India
After Breakfast leave for your last stop of this beautiful ride Shimla. On the way to Shimla, take lunch at Narkanda. This time instead of staying at Narkanda we stay at Shimla. Evening we are free to explore the town. If group wish to have a city tour then guide can take you around to visit the City.

Day 9: Shimla to Chandigarh. (150 Km)

Pass By: Chandigarh International Airport, New Civil Air Terminal, Mohali District, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab 140306, India
Leave early in the morning to catch the ride from Chandigarh back to your hometown.

On the way visit Famous Ridge, Mall Road, Lakkar Bazaar, Jakhu Temple in Shimla.

Your trip ends as you reach Chandigarh.
