Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China

We will pick up from your hotel and then start the journey to Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Center, which is around 10 km north to Chengdu. As the world’s famous giant panda ex situ conservation base, scientific research and breeding base, public education base and educational tourism base, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is famous for the protection and breeding of endangered wild animals that are unique to China, including giant pandas and red pandas. It is honored as “the national treasure’s natural paradise and the people’s land of idyllic beauty” for its beautiful environment of overlapping mountains, clean water, lush trees, and chirping birds.
Today we will visit rooms of adult pandas, sub-adult pandas and baby pandas, you can see they are eating bamboo and playing around in the morning.

Stop At: Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo), No.2435 Lingyun Street, Shizhong District, Leshan 614000 China

The 71 meters high Leshan Giant Buddha is the largest Maitreya Buddha statue carved out of a cliff. Giant and magnificent, this is the embodiment of ancient people’s wisdom and perseverance.
We will travel the Buddha Mountain, from the head of the gigantic Buddha to his enormous toes. (Alternative: Taking Boat from the ferry to the river in front of Buddha, price not included.)

After the tour ends, we will drop you back to Tianfu Square and you are free to explore the rest day on your own
