Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China
After your guide picks you up from your hotel lobby in Chengdu city centre, you will start this full day tour in the capital of Sichuan province and home of the pandas.
The first stop of the tour is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This conservation facility is leading the charge for giant panda breeding in Sichuan, with the ultimate aim of releasing these animals back into the wild once numbers have stabilized. There are separate enclosures for adult and adolescent pandas, where you can watch these Chinese icons chow down on bamboo and amble around their spacious, semi-wild areas. At many times of year, it's also possible to see the panda cubs the facility breeds. They begin their life as minuscule, hairless creatures, weighing just 3.5 ounces (100 grams), and grow rapidly into adorable balls of fur.
After the Centre, your tour guide will take you to eat a traditional Chengdu-Sichuan lunch at a local restaurant.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Wenshu Yuan Monastery, No.66 Wenshuyuan Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu 610017 China
Next you will visit the Wenshu Monastery, also known as Manjushri Monastery, the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. This temple houses interesting artwork and relics, including a skull of Xuan Zhang, a renown monk of the Tang Dynasty.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Chengdu Renmin Park, No.12 Shaocheng Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu 610015 China
The last visit will be the Chengdu People's Park, a collection of landscapes, culture, heritage, patriotic education, leisure and entertainment in one comprehensive park. In China people go to the parks to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, so be sure that your will have a lot of fun here watching Chinese singing, dancing or playing chess. Here you will enjoy a cup of tea at one of the many open terraces that offer this traditional Chinese beverage.
The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel.

Panda Base are why tourists come to Chengdu , it did not disappoint! Peoples Park and the tea house were beautiful, had a very nice day. The monastery while iconic in nature was not as informative as I needed! It was OK , just not up to the other events!
